This video project was launched in May, 2002 in order to complete the archive of the Institute of Church History with the narrations of the confessors of the faith recorded on video. The rapid development of the video communications stimulates the implementation of these advanced technical equipment in order to expand our source collection. This would be a unique chance for the wider audience and a specially for the young generation of scholars to find out more information about the tragic and heroic experience of the Underground Church. So far our limited financial resources enabled us to record only 100 interviews with the oldest participants of the Underground Church who represent different categories of both clergy and laity. The Institute relies on charitable financial support to be able to continue this promising project and to create a documentary film.
